Join fellow CXers for a conversation with a woman leader in the community\, so you can grow in knowledge\, learn from others\, and identify ways to stretch yourself.\n\n\n\nEach session our Lessons in Leadership facilitator\, Julie Klima\, Managing Director at Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership at UMKC\, will interview a guest woman in leadership who will share their experience and philosophies. July's special guest is Stephanie Winters McConnell\, the Managing Director of Pursuit & Reputation Marketing for Accenture.\n\n\n\nWhether you are a manager or project leader\, new entrant to the workforce with company leadership on the horizon\, an entrepreneur leading in a variety of ways\, or an executive\, you are welcome to join Lessons in Leadership. Real discussion leads to evolving mindsets and behaviors\, and CX's environment is comfortable for open discussion and sharing.\n\n\n\nStephanie Winters McConnell is the Managing Director of Pursuit & Reputation Marketing for Accenture where she oversees a global team responsible for driving sales and enhancing Accenture's external reputation. She's a member of the Marketing & Communications leadership team and Accenture's Global Leadership Council.\n\n\n\nThroughout her more than 25-year career at Accenture\, she has played a variety of leadership roles including serving as marketing lead for global sales & strategic accounts\, pioneering Accenture's pursuit-based marketing program and designing and implementing the marketing & communications operating model.\n\n\n\nShe also led marketing & communications for Accenture's Products North America operating unit where she had responsibility for driving sales\, enhancing loyalty\, and building Accenture's image across a set of consumer-relevant industries.\n\n\n\nPrior to her marketing roles\, Stephanie spent more than a decade working in the pharmaceutical industry for Accenture where she specialized in improving business performance through changes to operating models\, organization strategy\, and process design. \n\n \n\nShe is the executive sponsor for the women's employee resource group and International Women's Day in Kansas City.\n\n \n\nStephanie currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Graceland University and is a former board member for Connections to Success\, a not-for profit organization with a vision to help individuals and families achieve economic independence.\n\n \n\nStephanie lives in the Kansas City area with her husband and their two children.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nJulie Klima is the Managing Director at the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership at UMKC\, which is dedicated to enhancing performance and effectiveness in the nonprofit community through education\, research and service.
