DESCRIPTION:Lessons in Leadership is for leaders eager to grow. Join fellow CXers on the 1st Tuesday of every month for a conversation about a relevant leadership topic to grow in knowledge\, learn from others\, and identify ways to stretch yourself. Each month our Lessons in Leadership facilitator\, Julie Klima\, will interview a guest presenter who will share their experience and philosophies about leadership. Our guest for May will be Megan Sturges Stanfield\, President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City!\n\n\n\nWhether you are a manager or project leader\, new entrant to the workforce with company leadership on the horizon\, an entrepreneur leading in a variety of ways\, or an executive\, you are welcome to join Lessons in Leadership. Real discussion leads to evolving mindsets and behaviors\, and the CX virtual environment is comfortable for open discussion and sharing. \n\n\n\nMegan Sturges Stanfield is the President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City\, a nonprofit that teaches kids crucial financial decision-making skills while developing an entrepreneurial mindset\, so they can turn their passion into a promising career.  Since 2014\, she has been focused on helping young people across the metro own their future economic success and challenge the cycle of poverty. Megan is an experienced leader with demonstrated success in core nonprofit functions including fundraising\, stewardship\, program implementation & evaluation\, event management\, volunteer management\, and operations. She received her Master's in Family Studies from Kansas State University in 2014. Since then\, she has been putting her expertise and passion to work at a variety of for-impact organizations focused on impacting and changing the lives of children\, youth\, and families in our community.
