Allison Murdock is the Managing Partner of Stinson LLP, one of the nation’s 200 largest law firms, with more than 520 attorneys serving clients from 16 offices across the United States. As Managing Partner, she serves as Stinson’s chief executive officer, bearing ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the firm's business and legal operations, performance, and the development and implementation of the firm's strategic initiatives. She also chairs the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Allison has served on the firm's Board of Directors continuously since 2003.
Prior to her appointment as Managing Partner in 2021, Allison served as Stinson’s Deputy Managing Partner for 11 years, working alongside the firm’s Managing Partner to lead the firm’s day-to-day operations. In that role, she also oversaw the management of the firm's practice divisions and served as the leadership liaison for the firm's professional development, recruiting, diversity and inclusion, and pro bono committees.
Before dedicating herself to firm leadership, Allison chaired Stinson’s Financial Services Litigation Division and its Associate Evaluation and Associate Development and Mentoring Committees. She was a leading trial attorney in trust and estate matters, with a practice focused on defending corporate fiduciaries against claims of fraud, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty arising from the creation and administration of trusts. She also defended trust termination and reformation actions, and litigated adversary proceedings.

Allison has proudly spent her entire 38-year legal career at Stinson, having joined its predecessor firm, Stinson Mag & Fizzell, P.C., in 1988. She received her J.D. in 1988 and B.A. in 1983 from the University of Missouri—Kansas City.
