Join us to learn about geodesic dome homes from CX WiSTEMM member, Laurel Green. You’ll learn the engineering design and construction that makes for a unique, environmentally friendly home design. Dome homes, patented in 1954 by architect and futurist, Buckminster Fuller, offer comfort by design and create a compelling gathering spot. From the permanent wood foundation to the 360 degree view cupola, you’ll get to tour the dome home built by Laurel Green and her husband, Mark, located in rural Platte County.
