Laura Janusik is a dynamic Communication Coach, Trainer, and Consultant. She is a worldwide leading expert in listening and positions listening as the back door to effective communication. She uses her PhD in Communication and MBA to help individuals and teams get on the same page and speak the same language through the Power of Listening. Her approach to helping others listen is practical, other-oriented, and grounded in research.
Laura's research is published both nationally and internationally. You'll find her research and ideas cited in academic journals and publications including Forbes, Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and US News and World Report. Laura was a Professor at Rockhurst University for 18 years and currently holds the rank of Professor Emeritus. In addition to education, Laura was in HR Managements in private industry for 15 years.
